This role sits at the forefront of enterprise Generative AI innovation, defining and evolving scalable AI architectures that power next-generation digital experiences. The Principal AI Architect acts as a senior technical authority, shaping end-to-end GenAI strategy across platforms, products, and enterprise systems. You will design advanced architectures involving LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and orchestration frameworks that enable intelligent automation at scale. Working across product, data, and engineering teams, you will translate complex business challenges into secure, reusable, and future-ready AI solutions. The role requires strong architectural leadership combined with hands-on expertise in emerging AI technologies and distributed systems. You will also establish governance, standards, and reusable patterns to ensure consistency and long-term sustainability of AI adoption across the enterprise.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will define and guide enterprise-wide Generative AI architecture strategy while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance AI systems that align with business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed AI capabilities into core platforms and drive innovation across the organization.
- Lead the design of enterprise GenAI, LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Architect Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations, including context management, memory structures, tool usage, and governance controls.
- Design multi-agent and agent-to-agent systems enabling autonomous workflows, task decomposition, and intelligent decision-making.
- Define orchestration strategies across models, agents, APIs, and enterprise systems, balancing cost, performance, and reliability.
- Establish enterprise architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for AI development and deployment.
- Partner with business and product leaders to translate requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Provide architectural oversight, review solution designs, and ensure alignment with enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles, with strong exposure to AI/ML systems.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Generative AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, vector stores, and orchestration frameworks.
- Proven experience designing multi-agent systems or agent-based architectures in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of scalable, secure, and resilient distributed system design.
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI practices, data privacy, and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and translate business needs into technical architecture.
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
