What you will do
- Leads the planning and execution process of selling, qualifying, and closing of cyber security opportunities, both stand alone and as a member of a larger bid team. Acts as a subject matter expert on both the company's and competitor's Cybersecurity offerings and services.
- Leads sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of customized business solutions. Meets or exceeds annual new business revenue target for an assigned Cybersecurity offering within a defined sales territory.
- Works closely with the client relationship and account management personnel to develop an account development plan for Cybersecurity accounts within the assigned sales territory.
- Works across small territory to create a market for defined offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within Cybersecurity.
- Provides pre-sales support to client relationship personnel to drive Cybersecurity pipeline of qualified leads across the sales territory. Engages with the same to qualify leads into opportunities. Executes the standard sale process through to closure.
- Addresses complex client business problems by applying Cybersecurity offerings. Develops a compelling value proposition for our solution based on a solid business case and its overall impact on the client's agenda as well as company goals.
- Develops strategic business relationships with key decision makers.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Nine or more years of business development or sales experience
- Experience working with the technology industry, specifically emerging markets like cybersecurity
- Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings
- Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications
- Experience working with finance and accounting
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients
- Strong selling and negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning
- Good networking skills to create and maintain formal and informal communication networks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to travel

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the DXC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of DXC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a vacation policy and region-specific benefits.
At DXC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,400.00-177,200.00
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $95,400 - $177,200.
