The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

This Principal Specialist (FP&A) will support the overall budget consolidation, cost tracking and forecast update schedule for the ES RMD and ES RIS Facilities operating budgets of approximately $700M. This position will provide financial guidance and analysis to ES RMD and ES RIS Facility's Leadership and Business Operations including manpower planning, compliance, EAC development, tool management, project management and identification of savings and synergies.

This position will also provide financial guidance and knowledge in the creation of new reporting processes and implementation of financial tools (i.e. Rplan, etc.) to ensure alignment, consistency and financial integrity across ES and the Businesses. In addition, the candidate will communicate directly with the Business stakeholders to address affordability analysis and support audits and special projects.

Required Skills:

General knowledge and/or experience with the following areas:

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Budgeting, rate and variance analysis
  • Financial consolidation, reporting and forecasting
  • Experience with developing metrics and business affordability analysis
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong knowledge of Financial systems including SAP (APEX and PRISM), Rplan and Business Warehouse
  • Cross-collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels in the organization
  • Accomplished team player with demonstrated ability to coaching and training in support of a highly effective team
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Desired Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting or related field
  • Cross-business experience a plus

Required Education and Experience:

BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or other business-related major and 5 or more years of directly applicable experience

US Citizenship Required:

This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project

management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
