Why this role mattersSales Training develops and administers sales training courses, material and programs for the company’s sales organization. We help our external vendor sales teams do their jobs better and achieve exceptional levels of assimilation to our internal processes and needs. You can join our team as a Sales Trainer, researching, designing, developing, delivering and evaluating value-added training classes and programs for on-boarding, and ongoing external Sales Teams.

What you'll do- Design and develop blended methods of learning, including self-guided training material, instructor-led
presentations and web-based e-learning modules. - Develop and execute consistent and well-integrated training for new hires, experienced sales staff, and
external training vendors and facilitators. - Conduct needs assessments to determine knowledge gaps and identify / recommend appropriate
training solutions. - Create and maintain training schedules for existing vendors and on-boarding sales teams
- Travel to conduct and execute training, domestic and international travel required
- Provide training support for assigned segments and product focuses
- Conduct classroom and on-site training sessions for our external sales teams
- Prepare and distribute training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms and visual
aids. - Leverage working relationships with internal Vendor Management, QA, Sales, Product, Marketing and
other teams to maximize training effectiveness and adapt training content as needed.
- Familiarity with learning and development programs, processes, issues and considerations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of human behavior, adult learning theory and other factors that facilitate
effective learning and development outcomes. - General understanding of key aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentation,
demonstration and closing. - Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening.
- Ability to:
- Design, develop, deliver and administer effective training programs across multiple platforms (i.e.
classroom / in-person, virtual, web-based). - Perform effective and client-focused training needs assessment.
- Translate learning needs and requirements into learning solutions through instructional design and content development.
- Effectively facilitate small and large group training sessions.
- Design, develop, deliver and administer effective training programs across multiple platforms (i.e.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
- Prior experience (2-3 years) in either a Sales Enablement, Training, Instructional Design or related role.
- Experience in the UCaaS. CCaaS and API
- Prior experience with content development
- Strong presentation and class facilitation skills.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
- Experience with Digital or eLearning a plus.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Must be able to travel up to 50%
