We’re a remote-first company with team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees so people can get the work done in the way that suits them best.
We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to quickly build those relationships, we offer the opportunity to meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually. Most of our roles are fully remote, but these opportunities to meet in person will involve limited amounts of travel.Â
What the Role Is
Babylist launched two owned brands last year (AEIOU and Tiny Kind) and our Product Development Manager will be part of our owned brands team as a new, key member to help launch three more brands THIS year! As we expand our owned brands, our Production Manager will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with external merchants and factories to drive efficient processes and timelines and liaise with factories to organize workflows in order to meet specifications and deadlines.
This is a huge opportunity to develop and produce products across multiple items from soft goods to hard goods. Because owned brands are new to Babylist, we are creating our own process and developing the roadmaps for sourcing and production—it’s always a plus to be on the ground floor and help build a successful product.
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience taking initiative on product development, production, and sourcing processes and procedures
- You have proven success in keeping everyone in the production process on time and are not afraid to set proper expectations
- You have solid PLM experience
- You thrive in fast-moving environments and ambiguity and will be able to hit the ground running once fully on board
How You Will Make an Impact
- You will drive strategic initiatives to our sourcing and product management processÂ
- Be a key contributor to helping stand up and launch new and successful products and brands
- Resolve and coordinate production issues by having communication with design, merchandise, and technical design (and other) cross-functional teams
- Own sample management by tracking and ensuring appropriate teams receive samples in timely manner
- Ensure departmental productivity targets are met and troubleshoot scheduling and material issues
- Supports high level change management planning as leaders prepare to roll out strategies and/or announce strategic pivots
- Establish standard operating procedures and ensures standard work is followed

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.Â
A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. Exact starting pay will be determined based on skills and experience as well as location. We hold two compensation reviews annually to review pay for performance and market and run an equity analysis to ensure our pay practices are fair and unbiased.
A reasonable estimate for the current range in each zone is:
- Zone 1Â $71,000-$103,000
- Zone 2Â $65,000-$93,000
- Zone 3Â $60,000-$87,000
These ranges may be modified in the future.
