Product Owner / Functional Lead (Digital)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner / Functional Lead to join Accenture Song within our DDP Advisory team. This role focuses on driving digital product delivery across complex client engagements, with a preference for candidates who bring experience in banking or financial services environments. You will play a key role in shaping, delivering, and optimising digital products and experiences—working across strategy through to execution.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital products from discovery through to implementation and optimisation
• Translate business requirements into clear product backlogs, user stories, and functional specifications
• Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, design, and engineering teams
• Own and drive a prioritised product backlog aligned to customer and business value
• Use customer insights, delivery metrics, and business outcomes to inform prioritisation decisions
• Drive prioritisation decisions to maximise business value and customer outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and delivery plans
• Ensure delivery is aligned to client objectives, timelines, and quality expectations
• Manage stakeholder engagement across senior client and internal teams
• Support agile delivery practices, including sprint planning and backlog grooming
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively identify risks or blockers
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted delivery tools and ways of working to improve team productivity, collaboration, and delivery outcomes
 

About You

​

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Functional Lead
• Experience across the full product lifecycle (strategy to delivery)
• Experience in complex enterprise environments
• Banking or financial services experience preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable working in agile delivery environments
• Highly organised and adaptable
