• 5 to 8 years' experience in in Annuity and Life Insurance domain and having expertise in one of the products Universal Life, Variable Universal Life and Index Products
• Responsible for the analysis, delivery, and manual/automated testing solutions for one or more products and/or platforms
• Defines, identifies, collects, and organizes detailed information relating to testing requirements
• Interacts with the Product team to gain understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria
• Expertise in multiple automated testing processes and tools
• Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design. Assists in analyzing testing results throughout the project
• Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned
• Prepare detailed effort estimates for testing activities
• Provide Support on UAT and post deployment activities
• Responsible for obtaining sign-off on all deliverables related to testing.
• Tracking and managing test Plans/Defects in tools like Quality Center/JIRA
Creating reports and sharing to stakeholders on testing progress
1 Year + experience of testing Mainframe application is added advantage
Skills and Experience:
• Conduct System, Functional, Regression, Security and Performance Testing
• Experience working with company products and operating systems
• Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Experience in understanding the existing Automation Process, Architecture, and optimization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and flexible and determined to resolve problems for client
• Proficient in testing and development methodologies and their interaction
• Good leadership and negotiation skills to manage programs and develop new business
• Good interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills for interacting with and influencing team members, clients, thought leaders, and globally recognized subject matter experts
• Strategic management and planning skills
• Ability to work in project(s) up to large complexity and size, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to switch between tasks quickly
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $61,400 - $92,200.
