Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Professional Services Project Manager to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. 

What You’ll Do:

• Organize and keep track of many different types of tasks being done by the Anaconda Professional Services team, where software engineers work on a wide variety of customer projects, open-source projects, and internal projects.
• Working closely with technical leaders, assign tasks to relevant team members based on workload and relevant experience
• Establish clear ownership for each customer, project, and task
• Make sure that no task falls through the cracks, while ensuring that high-priority tasks are addressed first
• Review and report on project/customer/team status for management
• Coordinate team efforts, interacting with and supporting both internal and external business stakeholders
• Manage relationship with clients and other stakeholders
• Guide team through process, manage project risks, and resolve issues
• Design and optimize processes as needed to achieve outcomes desired
• Manage and improve tooling for tracking hours, uti.ization, and staffing
• Escalate issues when needed
• Provide input into project viability and alignment
• Manage scope of assigned projects
• Coach team on coordination and approach
• Other Duties as assigned

What You Need:

• 3+ years of relevant experience (either directly in project management, or in other roles requiring similar skills)
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with managing projects and resources
• Experience working in a technical environment
• Extremely strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience in a customer-facing role, working directly with external customers
• Experience with ticketing, planning, and scheduling tools for project management
• Experience working in an open-source, AI, Python, or data science-oriented company
• Experience with customer-billable projects (tracking and scheduling hours)
• Experience working with a geographically diverse and dispersed team
• Superior flexibility, awareness, and attention to detail
