This role offers the opportunity to oversee and coordinate complex programs from planning through execution and evaluation. The Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, mitigate risks, and ensure deliverables meet operational and technical objectives. You will act as a key liaison for stakeholders, providing updates, solving problems, and driving efficiency across projects. The position emphasizes both strategic oversight and hands-on program management, requiring strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. You will operate in a dynamic, safety-focused environment supporting mission-critical operations, with exposure to specialized aviation, flight test, and recovery programs. Collaboration, adaptability, and precision are central to success in this role.

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee program planning, execution, and evaluation across multiple projects
  • Assist in defining project requirements, developing work plans, and managing resources
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries, program updates, and contract correspondence
  • Support hiring, mentoring, and performance management for project teams
  • Ensure all projects and subcontracts adhere to safety, compliance, and operational standards
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, status reports, and metrics for stakeholder review
  • Foster strong internal and external relationships, representing the program professionally
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred
    • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA Level 1 preferred
    • 5+ years of program or project management experience, ideally in military ground/flight test operations
    • Knowledge of US Military and Federal Acquisition Regulations; experience with aircraft recovery programs (CDDAR) preferred
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools
    • U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance
    • Benefits:
