We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to oversee complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational excellence. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, track project performance, manage risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. You will contribute to process improvements, mentor team members, and support the execution of high-impact initiatives, including specialized programs such as aircraft recovery and flight test operations. The position offers a mix of remote work and occasional travel, providing flexibility while engaging with dynamic teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in balancing technical, operational, and programmatic priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of assigned programs, ensuring goals, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Coordinate project teams, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Assist in the development of program proposals, cost analyses, and technical documentation for assigned initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting schedule, cost, or technical performance, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Supervise or assist with hiring, mentoring, and onboarding team members, ensuring professional standards and operational excellence.
  • Contribute expertise in specialized operational areas such as ground and flight test operations, subcontractor management, and crash-damaged aircraft recovery programs.
  • Foster strong relationships internally and externally while promoting a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Master’s or MBA preferred).
    • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or DAWIA Level 1 preferred.
    • 5+ years of program or project management experience, ideally in military, aviation, or defense operations.
    • Knowledge of US Military and Federal Acquisition Regulations, AFI 21-119, or similar regulations.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management of team members.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
