Project Accounting Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with federal government experience to join our growing Finance team. The Project Accounting Senior Analyst will support all functions, from contract setup to contract close out, and carry out the day-to-day Accounts Receivable related accounting activities of the company. The Project Accounting Senior Analyst will also regularly interact with internal and external customers, requiring a high level of customer service and high level of coordination and communication.

This position offers the flexibility to work a remote schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining contract/project database
• Assisting in the management of monthly collections and receivables to include, preparing and submitting customer invoices and responding to accounts receivable inquiries
• Following up on past due accounts
• Working with customers and members of the Accounting Team to facilitate prompt payment
• Preparing analysis of accounts as required
• Managing customer information and payment terms
• Assisting in maintaining financial controls and internal policies, with a focus on process improvement
• Participating in annual audit and contract close outs
• Assisting with related special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate will have worked in a Government Contracting environment with billing experience with 3-5+ years of experience
• Working experience using Deltek Costpoint is preferred
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) is desired
• • This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government

Education:

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field

The salary range for this position is 110-115K
