As a National Geographic Learning (NGL) Project Coordinator within the Cengage Academic group, you will be a driver and contributor to organizational initiatives focused on supporting and improving go-to-market team workflows.

What you'll do here:

1) Executive Support for the SVP of National Geographic Learning

  • Supports the SVP of NGL by acting as a thought partner in prioritization of work and capacity planning
  • Attends meetings and takes notes, identifying and actioning specific priorities
  • Leads and implements various planning processes across the organization
  • Collaborates with the Cengage Academic centralized functions to identify and prioritize execution of business tactics that support NGL customers
  • Handles leaders' schedules, planning travel, processing invoices, and other administrative tasks as needed

2) Staff coordinator for NGL Leadership Team

  • Acts as staff coordinator for the SVP of NGL and the functional leadership team
  • Works with SVP to maintain priority list and agenda for NGL leadership team and progress against goals
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of NGL leadership team meetings focused and tracking that action items are completed
  • Maintains team accountability and visibility for progress on priorities
  • Supports the NGL leadership team by sharing important information to keep the team aligned and prepare them for key meetings or presentations
  • Provides program or project management support as needed to the NGL Leadership team
  • Shares recommendations and consultation related to culture and teamwork with the NGL leaders

3) Project Management

  • Responsible for coordinating the development of programs that support NGL's business and cultural goals.
  • Tracks projects and coordinates with project managers to ensure goals are met
  • Meets with team members to discuss program status and goals
  • Works with the communications team to create program marketing strategies
  • Evaluates and assesses the programs' strengths and weaknesses

Skills you will need here:

  • 3 years of project management and/or executive team level support
  • Experience working across complex, cross-functional project teams and/or program management
  • Ability to identify and analyze business needs, develop a problem statement and supporting data and create recommendations
  • Proactive ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and meet timelines
  • Comfort working with and building trust among team members and senior leadership
  • Uses a problem-solving approach with strict attention to detail and has the ability to ask the right questions
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Smartsheet and other tools to run projects, timelines, and deliverables

Base Pay Range

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$44,200.00 - $70,700.00 USD
