SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Business Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of process changes, maintaining process documentation, and driving project success for the assigned departments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, IT, HR, Marketing, and Training, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Process Improvement: Serve as a lead in identifying process gaps and opportunities for improvement within the assigned departments. Implement new processes, workflows, or enhancements to optimize operational efficiency.

  • SOP and Workflow Management: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows for the assigned departments. Collaborate with the training team to request and develop training materials to ensure proper implementation.
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timeline, and budget for each initiative. Efficiently manage and deliver projects within the agreed-upon parameters.
  • Budget Preparation: Work closely with stakeholders to prepare budgets based on project scope and resource requirements. Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Cross-functional Communication: Communicate changes, project updates, and milestones effectively with various cross-functional departments, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Effectively be the gate keeper for all communications and process changes from all departments into the construction and service organization.
  • Stakeholder Meetings: Lead cross-functional team meetings, drafting agendas, and facilitating discussions to define and track key project milestones and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project issues and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor the progress of projects and provide updates to relevant stakeholders. Organize and maintain project-related documents, reports, invoices, contracts, and other essential documentation.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role in Property Management, Construction and Service, for min 3 years, 5 years preferred
  • Strong understanding of process mapping, SOP development, and workflow management.
  • Exceptional project planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to address project challenges and risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Administration and Managementβ€” Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
