This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager, Learning and Development based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful learning and development projects within a fast-paced, global environment.
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and resourcing to delivery and quality assurance.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and subject matter experts to create effective learning solutions.
The position requires strong organizational skills, financial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional standards.

Accountabilities:

The Project Manager will be responsible for successfully managing a diverse portfolio of learning and development projects, ensuring smooth execution across internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients. This role requires ownership of project planning, delivery, communication, and operational excellence.

  • Manage global multi-client learning and development projects, including events, eLearning solutions, and strategic L&D initiatives across different levels of complexity.
  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery, and post-project follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, trackers, and documentation to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including content, design, development, account management, and business development stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings, establish clear responsibilities, and ensure all contributors remain aligned with project objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets, financial tracking, resource allocation, and operational processes to maintain profitability and delivery standards.
  • Identify potential risks, create mitigation plans, and proactively resolve challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams through effective communication, transparency, and reliable project management.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, and strategic opportunities in partnership with business development teams.
  • Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a background in learning and development, healthcare, life sciences, or agency environments.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with 5+ years preferred; experience in learning and development or life sciences is highly desirable.
    • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
    • Previous experience working in an agency, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related environment is strongly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and systems such as Smartsheet, Workday, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
    • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is a plus.
    • Exceptional planning, prioritization, organization, and attention to detail skills.
    • Strong financial acumen with the ability to create, monitor, and reconcile project budgets.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain composed in high-pressure situations.
    • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
    • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data tracking, reporting, and operational systems.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and adapt communication styles to different audiences.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
