Project Manager - Pre & Post Launch Support

Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives regarding both pre and post launch. This role will develop, maintain, and update project plans and production reporting while maintaining clear and timely communication with the Group Project PMO and all department leads to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
Essential Job Duties
- Create, monitor, and update a comprehensive project plan consisting of all pre and post launch deliverables.
- Distributing tasks of competing priorities across the leads to ensure a balanced workload across all resources and uphold deadlines.
- Regularly update leads to ensure projects are in flight and on schedule and any potential roadblocks are addressed.
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
- Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.

Work Environment
Works in a typical office environment with quiet-to-moderate noise generated by computer printer, fax machine and light traffic. Traveling may be required including international.
Physical Demands
Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May require lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, the telephone, and other office equipment.
Expected Hours of Work
The position is a full-time role and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours. Contract will be for one year with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Project Management, Communications, or related field
- A certification for project managers awarded by PMI (Project Management Institute) is preferred.
Experience: 5+ years' experience in Project Management within hospitality/travel industry. Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with program management. Program management may include planning or managing multiple related projects or initiatives or improving organizational efficiency and outcomes.
- Experience with SharePoint.
- Ability to operate calmly in high pressure and/or short-deadline situations.
- Must be highly detailed-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude who works well cross-functionally.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
