This senior project management role leads the successful implementation of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives, including system implementations, client onboarding, platform migrations, and operational upgrades. You will oversee projects from planning through go-live, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and high-quality outcomes. Working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders, you will drive operational readiness, data accuracy, and platform adoption. The role requires balancing multiple projects, managing risks, and maintaining clear communications across diverse teams. You will act as a mentor for junior project managers, promote process standardization, and continuously improve implementation methodologies. This position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where leadership, technical knowledge, and client-focused execution are highly valued.

• Lead full life-cycle project management for client implementations and conversions, including planning, execution, testing, training, transition, and go-live.
• Establish and communicate project expectations, roles, and responsibilities to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Define project scope, manage change requests, and implement governance structures to ensure consistent methodologies and documentation.
• Oversee internal and client-facing communications to maintain transparency and confidence throughout project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and monitor issues to resolution.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Produce executive-ready status updates, dashboards, and reports; drive lessons-learned activities to improve project methodology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 8+ years of project leadership experience with complex IT system implementations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical knowledge across platforms, systems, and IT processes.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience negotiating with and managing third-party vendors.
• Skilled in coaching, mentoring, conflict management, and team collaboration.
• Preferred: PMP certification, experience with Smartsheet or Azure DevOps, and healthcare/claims management knowledge.
