This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Publishing Operations Value Stream Quality Analyst based in India.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence through data analysis, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global publishing environment. As a senior-level professional, you will transform workflow and performance data into meaningful insights that enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency across publishing operations. Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with operational and process management teams to collect, analyze, and interpret value stream data that supports productivity improvements, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights across publishing operations.
  • Support Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen initiatives by identifying current-state performance, conducting root cause analyses, and tracking post-implementation outcomes.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within operational data to recommend improvements and drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Design intuitive visual representations of complex datasets to facilitate understanding among stakeholders and support strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain workflow templates and system processes to support standardized and optimized operational practices.
  • Manage user onboarding activities for publishing systems, including account setup, training delivery, and documentation access.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for publishing platforms and document findings, issues, and recommendations through structured ticketing processes.
  • Assess the impact of system enhancements on existing processes and support organizational adoption through process communications and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Identify and implement new workflow data fields that enhance reporting capabilities and support deeper value stream analysis.
  • Requirements

    • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is required.
    • Demonstrated experience leading or participating in Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, or operational excellence projects.
    • Strong analytical capabilities with proven experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visual data presentations to support business decision-making.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications and data analysis tools.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and root causes in complex operational environments.
    • Experience with workflow management systems, process mapping methodologies, and user acceptance testing activities is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs.
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and delivering high-quality outcomes.
    • A strong interest in publishing operations, process transformation, and continuous improvement methodologies will be highly valued.
