Overview
QA Automation Engineering Manager plans, develops, coordinates, and directs the QA Engineering team within the PrizePicks ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Supervises, coordinates, coaches, supports and reviews work of the QA Automation team.
- In depth understanding of automating functional, mobile, compatibility, regression, usability, accessibility, load, performance and UAT testing for web and mobile applications.
- Guide the team on consistency and accountability through use of documentation and process.
- Estimates personnel needs and schedules.
- Assigns and reviews work to meet completion date.
- Evaluate performance, resolve complaints, and make recommendations.
- Defines, plans and measures success metrics.
- Identify needs/goals and adjust to technical and personnel hurdles for team to succeed.
- Collaborates with Product, Engineering, DevOps Leadership to set expectations and coordinate on work to be delivered.
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated mastery experience with the implementation of QA Process.
- Track record of being a self starter to drive desired results with complex applications.
Candidates should have hands-on experience with:
- Building a Selenium Framework from scratch.
- Building frameworks for web, mobile web and apps using Appium, XCUI or Virtual Emulators.
- Automating API testing using Postman or native functions in Selenium Framework.
- JMeter/Blazemeter or other Load/Performance testing tools.
- Hiring/managing a team of automated testers.
- Building out workflows, processes and metrics to measure success.
- Ability to to be hands on in testing if the need dictates.
- Experience and/or flexibility in various SDLC Processes.
Candidates could have some sort of experience in the following:
- ClickUp
- Testflight
- XCUI
- Shape Up SDLC Process
- Notion or other Wiki/Intranet/Knowledge Base tools
