Job Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer specialize in manual testing to join our team. You will help ensure quality is part of our product and engineering roadmaps and work as a part of a cross-functional product team to find elegant solutions to mental healthcare’s many problems.

Working alongside other QA and automation engineers, developers, and product managers across several exciting product roadmaps, the Manual QA Engineer will help ensure a high quality experience for our web and mobile users.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating testing strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and releases in conjunction with Product and Engineering teams
- Conducting exploratory, smoke, regression, integration, and post-release testing of our web applications and mobile apps
- Able to perform debugging steps using various tools e.g. browser dev tools, data dog ● Accurately verifying and triaging bug tickets, and collaborating with engineering and other involved parties in root cause analysis and resolution
- Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure delivery of high-quality software that consistently meets acceptance criteria
- Continually improving quality by suggesting and implementing new testing best practices ● Managing software releases across our release management environments (dev, staging, production, etc)
- Documenting of test approaches and results
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years of QA testing experience
- Mobile testing experience with any cloud service (Perfecto, Saucelabs, Browser Stack) ● Comfortable using one or more SDLC tools such as JIRA or HP ALM ● Strong understanding of CSS/HTML
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies ● Equally comfortable working in a team environment or independently ● Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage deadlines
- Ability to work remotely or in person during U.S. eastern time zone business hours (attendance and provision of feedback in essential meetings will be required) ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Proficiency working with at least one e2e test framework
- Strong understanding of JavaScript
The target salary range for this position is $120,000 - $146,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
