QA (Quality Assurance) Sênior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA (Quality Assurance) Sênior based in Brazil.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving quality strategies across complex, high-scale digital systems that impact millions of users. You will work at the intersection of automation, engineering, and product reliability, ensuring robust and resilient software delivery in fast-paced environments. The position goes beyond traditional QA, focusing on quality engineering, observability, and continuous testing strategies. You will also actively contribute to the adoption of AI-driven testing practices and modern automation frameworks. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will influence architecture decisions and elevate engineering standards across squads. This is a senior, hands-on role combining technical depth, leadership, and strategic impact. You will play a key role in embedding quality as a core product capability.

• Design and define end-to-end quality strategies, setting technical direction and long-term testing standards across projects.
• Architect, build, and evolve advanced test automation frameworks and accelerators from the ground up.
• Lead the adoption and governance of new technologies, including AI/LLMs and agent-based systems applied to quality engineering.
• Implement and manage quality gates, observability layers, and automated testing pipelines within CI/CD environments.
• Influence system architecture to ensure testability, resilience, and high reliability across applications.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers, supporting technical growth and promoting best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, translating technical quality metrics into clear business value.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering roles in complex software environments.
• Strong experience with test strategies, test planning, execution, and quality assurance processes end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with mobile, web, and API testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience with agile development environments and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Proven experience applying AI tools in testing workflows (test generation, script optimization, automation support).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and quality metrics definition, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience mentoring teams and supporting technical development of QA professionals.
• Advanced English for international project communication.
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience with Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, and Shopify.
