Quality Assurance | Document Review Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Assurance | Document Review Specialist based in Brazil.

You will join a highly detail-oriented quality and compliance environment focused on validating AI-generated outputs against complex technical and regulatory documentation. In this role, you will ensure that critical operational procedures—particularly within industrial and oil & gas contexts—are accurately represented, complete, and compliant before being delivered to end users. You will work by comparing source materials with AI-generated outputs, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring strict adherence to formatting, safety, and regulatory standards. The position requires a highly analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical procedures with precision. You will also collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve system performance and reduce recurring errors. This is a remote role offering the opportunity to contribute directly to the reliability and safety of high-impact documentation systems.

• Review AI-generated SOPs by performing detailed side-by-side comparisons with source documents to ensure full accuracy and completeness.
• Validate that all procedural steps, warnings, notes, and references are preserved without omission or unintended modification.
• Ensure compliance with structured formatting standards, including layout, numbering, and procedural logic consistency.
• Assess clarity and usability of procedures from the perspective of field operators and technical users.
• Review and validate AI-generated regulatory compliance flags and ensure correct mapping to relevant standards.
• Identify, document, and report defects with precise, actionable detail to support fast resolution.
• Cross-check corporate standards and policies against internal libraries to identify inconsistencies or gaps.
• Conduct regression testing following platform updates to ensure continued accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze recurring issues and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve system quality and workflows.

Requirements:

• Experience working with oil & gas technical documentation, including SOPs, procedures, or regulatory compliance materials.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., API standards, OSHA PSM, AER, OGC, or equivalent).
• High attention to detail with a methodical approach to structured document review and comparison.
• Excellent written communication skills for clear, structured, and actionable defect reporting.
• Experience using document management systems, QA tools, or issue tracking platforms.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies and compliance risks.
• Background in compliance, HSE, process safety, or regulatory auditing is a plus.
• Familiarity with environmental or operational compliance documentation is an advantage.
• Prior exposure to AI-generated content review is a bonus.
