Forum One is looking for a Quality Assurance Web Manager to oversee Forum One’s quality assurance practice, working with company leaders to ensure that we uphold high standards for quality assurance and accessibility, developing processes and training staff to follow and adhere to those standards.Â
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies tailored to the unique requirements of digital projects, including websites, mobile applications, and other digital products.
- Conduct thorough testing across multiple platforms and devices to identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.Â
- Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and usability of digital assets produced by Forum One.
- Lead and grow a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent quality standards are met.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, developers, and clients to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
- Champion a culture of quality within the agency, promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital best practices to inform QA strategies and processes.
What you bring to the table:Â
- Proficiency with QA tools and methodologies, including automated testing frameworks such as automated visual regression testing, bug tracking systems, and usability testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies and platforms (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and prioritize issues effectively.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excitement for leading teams and developing new quality assurance processes
What would be nice:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance within a digital agency or similar environment, with 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma).
- Understanding of accessibility standards and requirements such as WCAG and Section 508 compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
