Job description

Team: Finance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Loan Officer based in the United States.

This is a high-impact, remote outside sales role focused on originating and growing real estate investment lending relationships across a national footprint. You will work directly with experienced investors, brokers, and referral partners to structure and close a diverse range of financing solutions including fix-and-flip, new construction, bridge, and rental property loans. The role blends entrepreneurial business development with full-cycle deal ownership, from prospecting and relationship building through underwriting and closing. You will operate as a market-facing expert, representing a comprehensive lending platform backed by strong internal support teams and advanced sales technology. With uncapped earning potential and access to a broad product suite, this role rewards performance, network strength, and deal execution. It is best suited for a self-driven originator who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-led lending environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for driving new loan origination activity and managing end-to-end deal execution within the real estate investment lending space. You will build and maintain strong relationships with investors, brokers, and industry partners while developing a sustainable pipeline of business across multiple markets.

  • Originate and close real estate investment loans nationwide, including fix-and-flip, new construction, bridge, and DSCR rental products.
  • Generate new business through direct outreach, referrals, investor networks, and industry engagement.
  • Manage the full loan lifecycle, including structuring, documentation coordination, underwriting collaboration, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with real estate investors and strategic referral partners.
  • Represent the lending platform in the market through networking, events, and industry visibility efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, credit, underwriting, and support teams to ensure smooth deal execution and client experience.

  • Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in real estate lending or private credit origination, along with a proven ability to develop and close high-value, multi-deal pipelines. This role requires both technical lending knowledge and strong business development capability.

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Active NMLS license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
    • 2+ years of experience in private lending, real estate finance, or mortgage origination (fix-and-flip, bridge, construction, or DSCR lending).
    • Established investor network or book of business strongly aligned with real estate investment lending products.
    • Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing complex loan transactions.
    • Strong understanding of real estate investment fundamentals and lending structures.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client presentation skills.
    • Highly self-driven with the ability to operate independently and manage a full sales pipeline.

    • Benefits

      • Highly competitive compensation with uncapped commission structure and strong earning potential
      • First-year total compensation typically ranging from $100K–$300K+, with top performers exceeding $500K
      • Performance-based bonus opportunities during initial ramp period
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
      • Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage
      • Health savings and flexible spending accounts (HSA/FSA)
      • 401(k) with company match and safe harbor contribution
      • Paid parental leave and family support programs (childcare and elder care assistance)
      • Paid time off, sick leave, and 12 paid holidays annually
      • Flexible, remote work environment with national reach
      • Career development support, mentorship, and ongoing learning opportunities
