This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Laboratory Testing) based in the United States.

As a Regional Sales Manager (Laboratory Testing), you will drive business growth by expanding access to innovative laboratory solutions and building trusted relationships with healthcare organizations. You will manage a multi-state territory, identify new opportunities, and help providers understand the value of advanced testing services. This role combines strategic sales development, consultative relationship management, and industry expertise within a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. You will work independently while collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that address customer needs and improve patient care. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who thrives on building partnerships, exceeding targets, and making an impact in the healthcare technology space.

Accountabilities

  • Drive revenue growth by selling laboratory testing services to hospitals, clinics, physician offices, healthcare providers, and strategic partners across an assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders while identifying opportunities for long-term partnerships and business expansion.
  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, lead generation, and strategic relationship building.
  • Present laboratory capabilities and value propositions effectively, differentiating solutions from competitors and addressing customer needs.
  • Create, manage, and execute account plans to support business development goals and maximize market opportunities.
  • Prepare and evaluate service proposals and quotations while ensuring alignment between customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, regulatory developments, customer needs, and competitive insights that inform growth strategies.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity management processes, sales pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop strategies, support client initiatives, and successfully close new business opportunities.
  • Maintain regular customer engagement through meetings, industry events, and relationship-building activities while ensuring customer needs are met effectively.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably selling laboratory testing services, healthcare solutions, diagnostics, or related products.
    • Strong understanding of laboratory testing and the ability to communicate complex clinical concepts and business benefits to prospective customers.
    • Experience developing and managing enterprise healthcare relationships with hospitals, clinics, physician groups, or similar organizations.
    • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with the confidence to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to independently manage a large territory, prioritize activities, and consistently achieve sales objectives.
    • Proficiency with standard business software tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
    • Willingness to travel approximately 30% for customer meetings, trade shows, industry conferences, and business events.
    • Experience in dialysis/CKD testing, diagnostics, transplant, or related healthcare markets is considered a plus.
