The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Duties • Operate tractor-trailer units to transport freight to designated locations. • Execute route driving efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Requirements • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. • Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer units. • Familiarity with route driving and ability to navigate efficiently. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
