Registered Nurse, Emergency Department- NIGHTS

```Duties:``` - Provide direct and specialized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room - Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity of condition - Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians - Perform emergency procedures such as suturing, airway management, and cardiac catheterization - Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to interventions - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems ```Requirements:``` - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Location] - Minimum of [X] years of experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in the Emergency Room - Proficient in medical terminology and familiar with emergency room protocols and procedures - Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions - Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Ability to lift and move heavy objects or assist with patient transfers as needed - Knowledge of infant care, including neonatal resuscitation techniques, is preferred but not required - Experience with dialysis, ophthalmology, tube feeding, or other specialized areas is a plus This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team.
