Registered Nurse – Women’s Health Clinic

Description: ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking aRegistered Nurseto support theWomen’s Health Clinic at Nellis Air Force Base. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing services, collaborate with healthcare providers, and contribute to patient education and care planning. This role also involves coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with medical standards. The Registered Nurse will also support the development of effective care protocols and provide guidance to other clinical staff as needed. Employment Type:Full-Time Clearance Required:None Schedule:Monday–Friday (Day Shift) Start Date:As soon as possible Responsibilities • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, or clinical nurse specialists in patient care and education. • Promote preventive care and health maintenance, including annual physical, health assessments, and education on positive health behaviors. • Coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes and cost-effective care. • Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, ethical and legal practices, and facility-specific policies and guidelines. • Effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse team members and patients to support care planning and outcomes. • Accurately document care activities in both written and electronic formats per facility requirements. • Participate in committees and performance improvement initiatives as assigned. • Support workplace safety and infection control compliance initiatives.Requirements: Required Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • 3–5 years of experiencein obstetrics, gynecology, and/or dysplasia care. • Demonstrated experience in direct patient care, staff education, administration, and/or research. • In-depth knowledge of: • Obstetric and gynecologic care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care. • Disease processes relevant to women's health (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, STDs, thyroid disorders, cardiac conditions). • Pharmacological agents used in women's health, including dosage, side effects, and contraindications. • Documentation standards and patient progress tracking. • Computer operations and medical records systems. • Proficient in operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as: IV pumps, cardiac monitors, EKG units, fetal heart monitors, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and suction devices. • Ability to interpret fetal heart tracings or willingness to complete training within 6 weeks of hire. • Maintain all certifications and continuing education requirements necessary for patient care. Highly Desired Skills • Demonstrated ability to guide and support nursing staff in clinical decision-making. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Experience in military or federal healthcare settings.
