Research Assistant (Remote)
Job Description
Cranial Technologies is looking for a Research Assistant to support in the collection, generation, and dissemination of data/research and interact with medical experts/associations (e.g., AOPA, IRBโs, academic medical centers), patient advocates and advocacy organizations, regulatory and payer authorities, and other key external and internal stakeholders. They are responsible for contributing to the productivity of Cranial Technologies by enhancing medical leadership and professionalism and assuring clear prioritization of research/evidence initiatives.ย
The Research Assistant will report directly to the Chief Science and Technology Officer and work in coordination with the Cranial Tech Data Warehouse. They should be comfortable with not only research generation and presentation creation, but triaging and managing evidence requests across the entire organization.
This position can be remote, with occasional travel as necessary to our Headquarters in Tempe, AZ.ย
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Chief Science and Technology Officer in the scientific liaison with other functions
- Provide research and evidence leadership both internally and externally
- Enhance value by representing and interfacing with internal stakeholders to develop/endorse CT strategies and plans and to ensure delivery of the scientific components of those plans
- Create presentations to support the Chief Science and Technology Officer
- Assist in enterprise-wide integrated evidence generation governance and strategy, including but not limited to, a consistent high standard and common approach to research and evidence planning and working with the Data Warehouse to update research and evidence dashboards accessible with internal stakeholders
- Help assure clear prioritization of research and evidence activities to assure that high priority scientific work is accomplished with excellent quality and in a timely manner
- Create an environment where colleagues understand and exhibit customer focused scientific professionalism in all their functions
- Contribute and help create a collaborative working environment within the scientific functions as well as across functions on brands to drive strategic advancement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL SET:
Qualifications
- B.S. in a Scientific Discipline
- 3+ years' experience in scientific research and medical technologies (pediatric preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex plans and technical information to team members within and across business units
Skill Set
- Proven leadership skills in coordination between people and projects both directly and via a matrixed or indirect leadership
- Organized, self-motived, and driven towards self-imposed deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with Cranial Technology leaders and key external stakeholders
- Effective English verbal and written communication with flexibility to be clear, consistent, compliant, and appropriate for a variety of settings including scientific/technical, promotional, patient/consumer, regulatory, and media
- Comfortable with presentation making (e.g., PowerPoint) and Microsoft Office skills
- Commitment to the principles of scientific professionalism

- The pay range for this is $60,000-$70,000 dependent on relevant qualifications and experience.
