Team: Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Research Specialist based in India.
This role plays a key part in supporting sales enablement and market intelligence efforts through high-quality research and data-driven insights. You will be responsible for developing detailed client reports, building prospect lists, and delivering market analysis that supports strategic decision-making for leadership teams. The position requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
You will collaborate closely with international stakeholders, primarily supporting US-based teams, ensuring timely and accurate research delivery aligned with business needs.
A significant part of your work will involve managing research workflows, improving data quality, and maintaining internal intelligence resources.
The role also includes mentoring junior team members and contributing to continuous improvement of research processes and tools.
This is a highly detail-oriented position for someone who enjoys combining analytical depth with structured reporting in a fast-paced, global environment.
Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality market and company research to support sales enablement and strategic decision-making.
- Act as a primary point of contact for research requests from stakeholders and ensure timely fulfillment of requirements.
- Develop client reports, prospect lists, and market intelligence materials for leadership and sales teams.
- Lead or support research projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and presentation of findings.
- Manage workflow allocation and ensure efficient distribution of tasks within the research team.
- Maintain and update internal intelligence databases and ensure information accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high standards in deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior analysts, contributing to training and capability development.
- Identify opportunities to improve research tools, automation, and data collection processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, primarily supporting US-based stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in market research, consulting, analytics, or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong report writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Experience working with business and real estate data sources (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook, CoStar, D&B Hoovers, Factiva, Sales Navigator) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in global teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across all levels of seniority.
- Experience in team coordination, mentoring, or quality assurance (differential).
- Familiarity with process improvement, automation, or research tools (differential).
