The Role
As a Revenue Operations Specialist on our team, you’ll manage the Mach49 CRM from end to end, including initial implementation, day-to-day operations, and making continuous improvements. More than just a data tracker and organizer, we need a Revenue Operations Specialist who can analyze, synthesize, and build a strategy based on the information collected. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple departments (e.g., Business Development, Marketing, Delivery) to deploy a coordinated effort to maintain current clients and engage new ones.
- Implement and manage a company-wide CRM migration, including owning and operating the CRM system build, change requests, user permissions / management, and bug resolution.
- Support Sales, Business Development, and Finance on pipeline and forecasting including maintaining and building metrics dashboards.
- Evaluate current processes, determine how these can be improved, and implement new solutions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to ensure system build is meeting cross-department expectations and requirements. Integrate third-party platforms with CRM as needed.
- Regularly audit, de-dupe, and enrich data for quality and accuracy.
- Extract data from the CRM and / or synthesize CRM trends for management in reports on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate with IT to ensure security and data protection measures meet latest and highest security standards.
- Design, maintain, and enhance workflow logic for data quality and user experience.
- Train and onboard relevant team members in CRM usage and troubleshoot internal CRM-related issues in a timely manner.
- Create, monitor, and present best practice performances and deal attribution models for multichannel sales to improve the overall Sales process and pipeline.
- Partner with Marketing to define seasonal strategies and tactics for implementation across Business Development.
- Create and deliver presentations on your findings and recommendations from your analysis of business-grounded data.
- Lead, construct, and deliver projects that elevate business perception, leading to more informed decisions from both an operational and sales perspective.
- Using enhanced data analysis skills for monitoring and reporting on the success of adoption and effectiveness of new features in the CRM.
- 2+ years’ experience working in an operations / process role.
- 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience with building, maintaining, and optimizing a CRM. Hubspot certification and experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge and proficiency in Google G-Suite, Keynote, Word, and other cloud business operating solutions.
- Experience with process mapping, use case and requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and ability to manage the requirements throughout the project lifecycle is desired.
- Excellent writing and presentation delivery, along with the ability to communicate technology solutions to non-technical individuals and foster a collaborative environment between IT and Business Development.
- Ability to execute with efficiency and urgency in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Consistent application of critical thinking skills across all workstreams.
- Experience at a high-growth start-up and / or in consulting is a plus.
- Flexibility and willingness to work when the work is needed, and to wear different hats and learn / deploy new skills as the entrepreneurial environment requires.
