Review Manager

DISCO Review Managers (“RMs”) work side-by-side with clients and our team of attorneys to leverage DISCO AI for the purpose of document review.  You will provide insights and perspective to improve client outcomes and increase the speed and quality of their ediscovery experience. Successful individuals in this role will create the optimal alignment of features and workflows within the context of case-specific constraints, including leveraging well-established best practices, to drive exceptional outcomes.  Our ideal candidate for this role brings in-depth knowledge of traditional legal review management, with a desire to help our clients - and the greater industry - evolve and innovate this work. 

• Be the point of contact for clients during DISCO Managed Review projects
• Manage teams of reviewers and provide them with necessary feedback and guidance to deliver industry leading speed and accuracy
• Structure review workflows, including QC workflows, based on the needs of the individual review project
• Guide the team and train junior colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment and identify and solve potential problems that could cause issues for our clients or our reviewers
• Contribute to department initiatives around preparation of DISCO standard documentation, including review protocols, status reports, training guides and review workflows
• Report on key project metrics to the broader Review team
• Drive curiosity to understand our clients pain points and provide solutions through the use of people, process and technology
• Work closely with our clients to understand how we're applying cutting edge tech to document review to achieve exceptional review results
• Work closely with our product and engineering teams by providing feedback and feature requests

• 4+ years of document review management experience at an ediscovery / managed review or alternative legal services provider, in-house e-discovery review function, or consulting firm
• Skilled at the use of at least one industry-leading review platform, like DISCO, Relativity, Everlaw, Axcelerate, etc.
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects at a given time
• Adapt your work schedule to support global client engagements in various time zones (primarily in the USA and UK)
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to provide solutions to clients
• Actively track and suggest improvements on operational parameters (including cost, efficiency, and quality metrics)
• Optimize / tailor managed review workflows based on project need
• Known for your attention to detail, strong organization and client-service orientation skills
• Design review and quality control workflows; exercise some QC responsibilities
• Keen interest in training and talent development, including grooming new Team Leads, QC personnel, and first-line reviewers
• Focused on fostering a strong, inclusive team environment and culture, where questions are encouraged and diversity celebrated
• Law degree from a recognized Indian university
