Ibotta is seeking a Sales Account Representative to join our team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.

Sales Account Representatives play a crucial role on the CPG team in developing our new and small accounts. This is a newly created role that will own customer campaign inquiries, drive campaign execution and facilitate cross-functional collaboration while building strong relationships with our CPG clients. This role owns both the sales and account management responsibilities for a given book of business.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office, (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with clients from campaign inception through campaign conclusion, acting as point-person for campaign execution and reporting – all the way from initial client outreach to execution and campaign result delivery

  • In partnership with our Sales Ops team, execute campaigns flawlessly with exceptional attention to detail, systems mastery, cross functional partnership and follow through

  • Use internal ticketing systems to partner with cross-functional teams in executing client campaigns

  • Own proactive outreach for high potential accounts – this role will “hunt” for new business opportunities within our highest potential small brands

  • Set the standard of excellence for a newly created team and role at Ibotta

  • Ensure client's objectives/KPIs are achieved, yielding successful campaign performance

  • Monitor campaigns to measure performance and communicate results

  • Retain, expand, and upsell current partners to support team revenue targets and grow the next generation of emerging accounts

  • Utilize internal tools for client reporting

  • Work within a team environment, but balance priorities and manage workload independently

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience managing campaigns or similar relevant experience in the CPG, promotions or advertising space; or experience in a BDR/SDR role

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

  • Change agility is a must – the ability to see new challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal (Candidates do a mock case study as part of the hiring process)

  • Team members who can wear multiple “hats” including account management and sales, and are excited about the gain exposure to both role types

  • Ability to capitalize on past marketing/project management experience to work with clients and internal partners to facilitate campaigns
