Sales Development Representative
Job Description
Position Purpose
A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating and qualifying leads for the sales team. They reach out to potential customers, conduct research to identify prospects, and engage in initial conversations to determine interest and fit. SDRs play a crucial role in the sales process by creating a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team to pursue. They are skilled in communication, prospecting, and building relationships to drive business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Consistently meet daily and weekly outbound prospecting activity objectives
• Collaborate with your manager and the Account Executive team on target lists within assigned verticals and segments

• Set appointments to meet top of funnel creation objectives
• Nurture marketing qualified leads (MQLs) to generate sales qualified leads (SQLs) to the sales organization
• Qualify leads to gather critical information such as, employee count, current provider and key contacts in the organization (decision makers and users)
• Attend sales discovery meetings as needed
• Reply to website visitors who engage with our chatbot and schedule appointments accordingly
• Other special projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or similar
• 1+ year(s) of sales development experience with demonstrated success
• Highly motivated and results oriented
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
• Experience with industry leading prospecting & cadence tools and platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment
