This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Executive, Talent & Executive Search based in the United States.

This role is built for a driven, relationship-led sales professional who thrives in high-trust, consultative environments.
You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to closing new client relationships in the talent and executive search space.
The position combines strategic business development with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, relationship-driven market.
You will engage directly with senior HR and business leaders, building credibility and long-term partnerships rather than transactional deals.
This is a field- and community-oriented role where in-person networking, events, and local market presence are key to success.
You will join a values-led environment that prioritizes integrity, transparency, and long-term fit over short-term gains.
Success in this role means consistently building a strong pipeline, closing clean deals, and contributing to a reputation for trusted advisory selling.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, qualification, pitching, negotiation, and closing new client relationships in the talent and executive search space.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients through direct outreach, research, referrals, and consistent market engagement.
  • Develop trusted relationships with HR leaders, CHROs, and business decision-makers, positioning yourself as a credible advisor rather than a transactional seller.
  • Actively participate in industry events, networking groups, and local business communities to generate opportunities and strengthen market presence.
  • Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and search execution.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy, ensuring consistent performance against revenue targets.
  • Uphold a consultative, ethical sales approach that prioritizes long-term client fit and sustainable partnerships.

  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales, ideally within recruiting, staffing, executive search, HR tech, or professional services.
    • Proven track record of closing complex B2B deals and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
    • Strong ability to sell consultatively, focusing on trust, relationship-building, and long-term value over transactional outcomes.
    • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage confidently with senior HR and business leaders.
    • Demonstrated comfort with outbound sales, cold calling, and self-generated pipeline development.
    • Strong networking skills with experience attending and leveraging industry events or professional communities.
    • High integrity and alignment with ethical, transparent selling practices, including comfort walking away from misaligned opportunities.
    • Based in or willing to actively operate within the Los Angeles, Long Beach, or Orange County market.

      • Base salary between $75,000 and $100,000 USD, depending on experience.
