The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is the site where the first H-D factory - a wooden shed - was built in 1903 in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home. Join our team as a Sales Lead - Remote.
Job Summary
This position has responsibility for executing the Dealer Operations Consulting program, and dealer performance improvement strategy. The incumbent helps dealer's vehicle sales departments to develop and implement process capabilities, in addition to consistent application and measurement of vehicle sales department acumen. The Lead executes a strategy that measurably improves the vehicle sales, profitability and customer satisfaction of participating dealers.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining and delivering vehicle sales process and operations acumen and execution to support the achievement of retail and wholesale sales objectives
- Ability to successfully implement dealer capabilities through specific measurements to improve dealer operations, revenue and profit
- Maintains a level of interaction with the end-customer that allows this position to ensure that the strategic sales direction developed by this role is appropriately implemented
- Consistently remain well versed in innovative new approaches/practices and aligned with HDU materials
- Partners with stakeholders and collaborates with internal partners to disseminate best practices to impact as many dealer's as possible
- Promotes collaborating across the company to develop and design the associated marketing efforts for the country market and regional sales, to create awareness and understanding of the value of high performing dealer network

Experience Requirements
Required:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Strong understanding of dealership process/financial systems/operations/dealer management systems/CRMs
- Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information
- Experience working directly with dealership staff, preferably dealership owners and managers
- Ability to develop effective business relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders both internal and external
- Ability to understand dealer issues and respond diplomatically
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Position requires up to 50% travel
- Ability to effectively present information both in-person and virtually and respond to questions from groups of clients, customers, and the dealer network
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Retail Experience in like industry preferred (automotive, motorcycle)
- Service technical experience in like industry preferred (automotive, motorcycle).
