Team: Business Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Partnerships Director based in Australia.

As a Sales Partnerships Director, you will lead regional growth initiatives by building and scaling strategic partnerships while driving direct revenue opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. You will play a key role in developing go-to-market strategies, expanding market presence, and creating strong commercial relationships with partners and customers. Working within a global SaaS environment, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution to accelerate business growth. This role offers the opportunity to influence regional expansion, support innovative product adoption, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, product, and operations. You will have significant ownership in shaping partner ecosystems and delivering measurable impact in a mission-driven technology organization.

Accountabilities

  • Own regional revenue growth across partner-led and direct sales channels, with a strong focus on developing and scaling partner-driven opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Australia and New Zealand to increase customer acquisition, expansion, and market penetration.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop strategic partners aligned with business objectives and regional growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships, ensuring effective enablement, engagement, and commercial success.
  • Create partner development plans and collaborate with marketing teams to deliver campaigns that support acquisition and growth objectives.
  • Drive direct sales activities by identifying key market opportunities, building qualified pipelines, managing complex sales cycles, and closing new business.
  • Work closely with regional solution consultants and customer teams to deliver a consistent customer experience across acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Leverage global resources across product, marketing, operations, and commercial teams to support regional execution.
  • Support the introduction and adoption of new product solutions by ensuring market readiness, partner enablement, and customer demand generation.
  • Analyze competitive trends, market dynamics, and industry drivers to provide insights that inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management processes, and revenue forecasting across partner and direct sales activities.
  • Requirements

    • 8+ years of experience in sales, channel partnerships, business development, or commercial leadership roles.
    • 3+ years of experience specifically leading sales, marketing, business development, or partner-focused teams and initiatives.
    • Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships, ideally within SaaS, technology, or B2B environments.
    • Strong direct sales expertise with experience creating pipelines, managing complex sales processes, and closing enterprise opportunities.
    • Deep understanding of sales excellence practices, including pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity management, and performance tracking.
    • Experience developing demand generation strategies across inbound and outbound channels.
    • Strong knowledge of partnership ecosystems and the ability to identify, recruit, and enable high-value partners.
    • Understanding of EHSQ, ESG, sustainability, or chemical management markets is highly desirable.
    • Experience launching new products or solutions within regional markets.
    • Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable operating independently while taking ownership of regional growth initiatives.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
