Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Qualifying and transitioning sales leads
  • Educate and promote customers about Hardwood Giant Products and Services.
  • Service existing accounts obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers.
  • Inform existing and potential customers about special offers.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned by your Sales Manager.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
  • Develop new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact.
  • Achieve individual sales targets to support overall department and organizational goals.
  • Clean and Organize store. Lift heavy boxes to ensure proper organization of the store.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
  • Ensuring the requirements of each project are successfully executed by the installation team.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, and documentation skills
  • great customer service skills that translate to sales
  • Resolves customer complaints in a timely and professional manner by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Good negotiations and sales skills will help close the sales.
  • Maintain customer relationships and prospects for future clients.
  • Potential to earn $80,000 - $100,000 yearly inclusive basepay + commissions

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience working in a sales-driven environment (required).
  • Previous sales experience within the flooring industry (preferred).
  • The ability to genuinely listen to customers, formulating a personalized response to their needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems or equivalent. (Preferred)
  • Required to work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and business needs.
  • Open availability to work on the weekends.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Business casual office attire.
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift occasionally lifting
  • Ability to listen and speak with employees and customers in person and by phone.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • View and type on computer screens for invoicing and email communications.
  • Ability to drive to and from work locations or if scheduled to other locations.
