About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Salesforce Administrator reporting to our Senior Manager, Revenue Operations on our Business Operations team.
The role is a great opportunity to be Ontra’s expert on Salesforce and own the technical buildouts of new processes or projects. You will be responsible for building, cleaning, and maintaining our data model while creating the most user-friendly experience for our functional stakeholders. You will work closely with operational teams to understand business requirements so that they can build the most efficient solutions within Salesforce that will capture all the data we need. The goal is to create the most efficient data structure that is accurate, reliable, and has guardrails in place to maintain that accuracy.

What you’ll do
- Organizational Support: build new automations, fields, reports, dashboards, validations etc. to support GTM stakeholders
- Process Refinement: constantly refining our own workflows so that we have the correct processes in place to maintain the most accurate set of data
- Data Organization: Attention to detail while monitoring and maintaining the integrity of the vast amount of data we are collecting across the sales organizationÂ
- Communication: Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and explaining technical process
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 3+ years experience with Salesforce Lightning where you have built custom objects, workflows, validations, etc.
- Problem Solving Skills: Capable of diving deep into our systems and developing the most efficient solutions while keeping big picture in mind
- Change Management Expertise: able to work as part of a growing team with moving parts and disseminating timely, accurate changes
- Strategy: considers the long ranging impact of changes and how to build for a scaling company

Pay transparency
Ontra publishes salary ranges on our salary board here: http://bit.ly/3UjAOE3, which currently includes estimated annual cash salary ranges for candidates based in Colorado and New York City, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ontra leverages current market data to determine compensation, so posted figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
Ontra factors in your location when benchmarking compensation for most roles. If you are not located in Colorado or New York City and have been selected to participate in our interview process, we encourage you to speak with your recruiter about compensation for the role during an initial conversation.
In addition to cash salary, the total compensation package Ontra offers includes unit-based compensation (if applicable). Certain roles in our sales and account management departments may also be eligible to receive variable compensation or commission.
