The Opportunity
DAT is seeking a Salesforce Administrator II to join our Business Applications team in Denver, CO; Beaverton, OR; or remote.
Candidate Profile
The Salesforce Administrator II will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to lead project initiatives, enhancements, and assist with troubleshooting end-user issues. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our Salesforce instance is configured, customized, and optimized to meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders, drive operational efficiency, and enhance overall system performance. This role requires a strong understanding of advanced Salesforce functionality, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and various stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business requirements, including but not limited to: user management, security settings, flows, approval processes, data management, Salesforce CPQ and Billing configurations
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business needs and translate them into technical requirements and Salesforce solutions
- Collaborate with IT and other engineering teams to manage integrations between Salesforce and other business-critical applications, ensuring data flows seamlessly between systems
- Manage data integrity and data quality within Salesforce, including data import, export, and cleansing activities
- Participate in Salesforce system upgrades and enhancements, including testing and documentation
- Provide ongoing training and support to Salesforce users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of the system
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionalities, and evaluate their potential impact on business processes
The Skills and Experience You’ll Bring
- Salesforce product knowledge and 3+ years of hands-on administration experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Billing
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role, with a deep understanding of Salesforce functionality and best practices
- Salesforce certification(s), such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or CPQ Specialist strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including (but not limited to) flows, custom fields / objects, page layouts, validation rules, security settings, and reports / dashboards
- Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ and Billing configurations (e.g. product catalog, pricing rules, discount schedules, approval workflows, billing rules, revenue recognition rules)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Experience and knowledge of Apex and Visualforce development is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to adoption by improving the user experience through standardization and documentation of processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $90,000.00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
