The SAP ABAP Technical Analyst will support business users by maintaining and enhancing SAP programs creating ABAP solutions and managing printing forms and reports.

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity in our Hughes Network Systems division as a SAP ABAP Technical Analyst within our Information Technology department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This role provides operational support for business end users. This position is located at our office in Germantown MD.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain existing SAP modification codebase make updates/enhancements when requested by analysts
• Create new ABAP-based solutions to support changing business requirements
• Maintain and create printing forms for Zebra printers label printers and standard printers using SAP script Smart Forms and Adobe Forms
• Maintain and create ALV reports for users to meet specific reporting needs and formats
• Maintain and create EDI and related Idoc forms for communicating with partner systems

Skills Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or related technical field
• 7 years of hands-on experience
• 5 years of experience in interface design and development
• 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP programming testing and debugging including expertise in ABAP OOP BADIs BAPIs EDI IDOCs Data Dictionary and Workflow

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Technology Certifications or Credentials recommended
• Deep expertise in ABAP Objects including classes interfaces data dictionary structures/extensions and function modules
• Proven ability to develop programs in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively
• Demonstrated leadership in SAP application development projects
• Strong understanding of SAP methodologies principles and development practices with the ability to plan schedule and coordinate work to meet project milestones
• Solid experience in SAP HR SD MM IM WM and/or FI modules
• Solid experience developing Web Services
• Experience with SAP GTS is a plus
• Familiar with SAP Roadmap and emerging technologies (CPI BTP RISE etc.) a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
• Must be able to maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Must be able to work extended hours and travel to client sites as required
• Java and/or XML experience a plus

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $97500.00/Year - $130000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
