DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented SAP Application Analyst Principal, SC Aftermarket to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Aftermarket in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

• Enhancing Application Functionality: By providing comprehensive expertise in application functionality, configuration, and support, you'll ensure that software solutions meet business needs effectively.
• Optimizing Business Processes: Leading the analysis and evaluation of application functionality, you'll recommend ways to increase the utilization of standard application features, thereby improving business processes and capabilities.
• Configuring Applications: You'll determine and document the optimal application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements, ensuring that complex setups are correctly configured and verified.
• Staying Current with Trends: By remaining up-to-date on emerging application trends and functionalities, you'll provide cutting-edge functional expertise for assigned applications and systems.
• Addressing Functionality Gaps: Leading the analysis of potential application solutions, you'll identify and recommend ways to address functionality gaps, ensuring the applications meet all business requirements.
• Vendor Collaboration: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, you'll work with them to enhance application functionality and resolve complex issues.
• Cross-functional Partnership: Partnering with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts, and architects, you'll gather, document, and review requirements, defining functional designs that align with business goals.
• Training and Development: By educating, coaching, and training team members, you'll improve the quality and efficiency of support processes, fostering a knowledgeable and efficient team.

• Strategic and Solution Design Mindset: Ability to foresee future possibilities and design comprehensive solutions.
• Expertise in SAP HANA and Supply Chain: Deep understanding of SAP HANA functionality, especially in the context of Supply Chain Aftermarket Business, and the ability to analyze and recommend improvements.
• Cross-functional SAP Experience: Certified experience in key SAP processes across various modules.
• Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to explain complex SAP concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate with stakeholders.

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Significant relevant experience required.
