Le Data Scientist Senior joue un rôle crucial au sein de notre équipe de data science en développant des modèles prédictifs et des solutions d'analyse avancées. Ce rôle implique une collaboration avec différents départements pour relever les défis commerciaux complexes grâce à des informations basées sur les données.
Responsabilités principales :
- Analyser de grands ensembles de données pour identifier des schémas et générer des informations exploitables.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des algorithmes d'apprentissage automatique et des modèles statistiques.
- Collaborer avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires pour comprendre les besoins de l'entreprise et développer des solutions de données appropriées.
- Concevoir et exécuter des expériences pour tester et valider les modèles.
- Appliquer des techniques statistiques avancées et des algorithmes de fouille de données.
- Construire et maintenir des systèmes de traitement de données efficaces.
- Communiquer les résultats aux parties prenantes à l'aide de visualisations et de rapports.
- Se tenir au courant des tendances de l'industrie en matière de science des données et d'IA.
- Encadrer les data scientists juniors pour favoriser une culture d'apprentissage et d'amélioration continue.
Qualifications :
- Licence en science des données, informatique, statistiques, mathématiques ou domaine connexe (master préféré).
- Plus de 7 ans d'expérience en science des données, avec une spécialisation en IA et apprentissage automatique.
- Maîtrise de Python ou R, ainsi que des bibliothèques de manipulation de données (par exemple Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- Expérience des technologies Big Data et des plateformes cloud.
- Solides connaissances en SQL et en outils de visualisation de données.
- Excellentes compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation.
- Bilingue (français et anglais) préféré.
Le.la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l'extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis. Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l'anglais à l'écrit et à l'oral. Veuillez noter que le nombre de postes dont les tâches requièrent une connaissance de la langue anglaise a été restreint dans la mesure du possible

Position Overview:
The Senior Data Scientist plays a crucial role in our data science team, leading the development of predictive models and advanced analytics solutions. This role involves collaboration with various departments to address complex business challenges through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop appropriate data solutions.
- Design and execute experiments to test and validate models.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques and data mining algorithms.
- Build and maintain efficient data processing systems.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends in data science and AI.
- Mentor junior data scientists to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python or R, and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bilingual (French and English) preferred.
The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.
