Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master, you’ll be a steward of Agile principles and lead a high-performing development team to build a innovative banking platform, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do: 

• Work with our Technical teams to execute agile based projects for clients and collaborate with other product team members and peers.
• Assess the Agile Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
• Guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove impediments and build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution while also facilitating productivity without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
• Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog, and assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Provide all support to the team by leading by example and using a servant leadership style whenever possible.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• 4+ years of Scrum Master experience leading cross-functional teams, incl front-end, back-end, testing, DevOps, and Cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience in leading multiple Scrum teams on fast-moving custom development projects.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels; ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to executive staff, stakeholders, and technical resources in clear concise language
• Experience using the Atlassian suite or other leading agile project management tool.
• A first level Scrum Master certification (e.g. CSM, PSM I)
