Now Hiring Seasonal Pharmacists for a Vaccine Administration Initiative (Flu, COVID-19, MMR, etc.) Location:Various sites available across the region (San Mateo, Mountain View, San Carlos, Redwood City, Menlo Park) Start Date:Week of 08/24/2025 Type:Seasonal/temporary W2 assignment anticipated through 11/30/2025-subject to change based on volume needs Pay Rate:$68.00/hour, paid bi-weekly Schedule:Open to PT or FT schedules. Locations are open up to 7 days/week (must be flexible and available for a minimum of 20 hours/week) Hours are not guaranteed and may fluctuate based on patient volume. Overview: Join a leading national initiative focused on improving public health outcomes through in-store vaccine administration. This patient-facing Pharmacist position involves administering a variety of adult and pediatric vaccines in a retail healthcare setting, including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and others. PPE is provided, and strong clinical and communication skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: • A key component of the Immunizing Pharmacist role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. • You will be responsible for the administration of multiple immunizations (ex: flu, shingles, COVID, etc.) • Administer vaccines safely and efficiently in accordance with clinical guidelines. • Provide empathetic and professional care to patients in a fast-paced environment. • Maintain and follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper PPE usage. • Collaborate with pharmacy and store teams to support patient care. • Educate patients on vaccine information, side effects, and follow-up care. • Contribute to a team culture that values compassion, energy, and commitment to health outcomes. • Adjust to changing schedules and patient volumes as needed. Qualifications: • Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) • BLS certification required from approved AHA/ARC organization • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
