This Senior Account Executive position will be aligned to support Federal Civilian Government accounts and will be responsible for the generation of new sales opportunities utilizing Magnet Forensicsâ portfolio of products, solutions and services.
Â
¡ Develop and execute annual and quarterly territory plan
¡ Prospect for new clients within law enforcement and government organizations
¡ Conduct marketing lead and opportunity qualification
¡ Prepare and deliver in market customer face to face presentations
¡ Facilitate technical product demonstrations
¡ Manage product trial lifecycle
¡ Accurately complete quoting process and ensure comprehensive records for accounting purposes
¡ Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales activities in Magnetâs CRM system
¡ Conduct ongoing customer needs analysis to ensure Magnet is providing the most comprehensive product to our customers
¡ Strong knowledge of the digital forensics industry in addition to the competitive matrix
¡ Proactively position a positive business outcome to the customerâs current business problem

Itâs more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have âbeen there, done thatâ. There are a couple must haves, but we will keep that list short:
Â
¡ Minimum of 10 years experience in a direct or indirect software sales role selling into the Federal Civilian Government.
¡ Previous experience working within a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
¡ Excellent verbal and written communication
¡ Ability to be persuasive and strong negotiation skills
¡ Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
*Travel is required for this role

Compensation
- The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (ie. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).
- MIN: $175,000 - MID: $250,000 - MAX: $325,000 - Currency: USD
