How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop relationships with property managers and residents to promote Spectrum products and services
- Achieve monthly sales goals by generating new leads and increasing sales volume in assigned MDU properties
- Engage customers through door-to-door visits lobby events and consistent follow-up
- Assist existing customers by introducing additional services to generate incremental revenue
- Resolve customer concerns according to Spectrum policies ensuring issues are followed through to completion
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and share market insights with management
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to strengthen your knowledge and skills
- Accurately complete sales documentation and handle customer funds in alignment with company guidelines
Working Conditions
- Spends approximately 80% of time in outside environment for extended periods of time in any season with potential exposure to inclement weather
- Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds for 20 - 30 feet (digital boxes etc.)
- Exposure to moderate noise levels
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Variable hours: may include weekends holidays and split days off
- Walking door to door for extensive periods through local communities
What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in sales or customer service
Skills
- Knowledge of cold call sales skills persuasion and clear communication skills
- Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather
- Familiarity with computer operating systems a myriad of consumer and commercial communications devices (e.g. PDAs smartphones routers modems converters and wireless devices) and computer software applications
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years of sales or relevant work experience
Skills
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services
- Experience with consumer education of products and services
- Success in a previous sales position prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred

The base pay for this position generally is between
$33200.00 and $66000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition this position has a commission earnings target starting at
$65000.
