Senior Accountant

With a legacy of excellence and a commitment to innovation, we are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Project Accounting: Oversee project cost accounting, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and revenue recognition for construction projects.
• General Ledger Management: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Supervise AP/AR functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and providing necessary documentation.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance team members, and other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and project cost accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
