Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Accountant supporting the Collins Finance Shared Service team focusing on Holding Company Accounting. This is an individual contributor role. As part of the Collins Finance Shared Service team, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to provide support to multiple strategic business units as well as interact with various RTX Finance functions. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter with a strong Financial Accounting background.

This position can be worked remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop GAAP financial statements for assigned holding companies and work with local accountants to translate these from GAAP to STAT accounting
• Reconcile various accounts in holding company ledgers
• Team with Financial Controls to ensure holding companies are current with their statutory filings along with other key requirements and deliverables
• Represent Collins Finance in key projects aimed at reducing the number of Collins legal entities
• Support our General Accounting team as we work through various tax restructuring projects to ensure accurate financial representation
• Act as Collins liaison with Tax, the Corporate Financial Accounting/Holding Company team and others involved in holding company activity

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
• SAP and Hyperion / HFM experience are required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience using JDE and Microsoft Applications
• Prior experience managing projects
