We do this through monthly recurring services in addition to special projects. Our customized service offerings have become such a successful service offering in our initial market in Arizona and we are looking to double in size year over year. POSITION: ACCOUNTANT We are looking for a motivated individual with full cycle accrual accounting experience to join our growing team. It is the Accountant's responsibility to ensure accurate and timely entry of daily transactions along with responding to vendor/customer requests in a timely and professional manner. The Accountant also plays a vital role in the completion of the month end process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position is an on-site, full-time accounting position. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include additional duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary. • Manage multiple client accounts, including e-mails, in a timely and organized manner • Assist in timely and accurate completion of month-end close • Vendor invoice review and posting as part of Accounts Payable preparation • Customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable processing • Credit Card, Expensify, PayPal and bank transaction posting and reconciliations • Ad-hoc reporting, as assigned • Annual 1099s preparation and filing for multiple clients • Ability to learn and work in various software and web based systems Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting preferred but not required • 5+ years of experience in a full charge bookkeeper role, or in a general accounting role • Beginning to intermediate skills in Excel (filters, sorts, general use) • Experience with QuickBooks (QBO) Additional Requirements • A strong desire to learn, if you don’t know something, ask! • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required • Must have solid understanding of accounting principals • Understanding of accrual based accounting • Ability to work independently with in a team • Strong communication skills • Strong written and oral communication skills required • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of personalities is required.
