Job Description

Team: Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer, Product based in France.

This role sits at the core of a fast-scaling product and data ecosystem where analytics is not just support but a product in itself. You will design and own the data foundations that power decision-making across product squads, customer success, marketing, and external stakeholders such as sponsors and research sites. Acting as a bridge between raw data and real product value, you will transform complex operational and product needs into reliable, scalable, and self-service data products. The environment is highly collaborative, working closely with product managers, engineers, and operational teams to turn ambiguity into actionable data solutions. You will play a key role in enabling faster product iteration by delivering trusted metrics, dashboards, and semantic layers. With a strong focus on AI-enabled analytics, this role offers the opportunity to shape how data work is automated and scaled in a modern, mission-driven organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end data product lifecycle, from metric definition and modeling to deployment and adoption across teams.
  • Build and maintain scalable semantic layers and self-service analytics systems enabling non-technical stakeholders to access trusted insights.
  • Partner with product squads to translate operational and product challenges into production-ready data pipelines and analytics assets.
  • Develop and maintain user-facing dashboards, embedded analytics, and data products used by internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across models built in dbt and stored in cloud data warehouses.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline data workflows and improve team productivity at scale.
  • Requirements

    • 4+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a hybrid data engineer/analyst role with strong analytics ownership.
    • Strong expertise in dbt and modern data warehousing (BigQuery or similar).
    • Proven experience delivering end-to-end data products with measurable business or user impact.
    • Product-oriented mindset with the ability to understand user needs and translate them into data solutions.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
    • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and shaping requirements from loosely defined problems.
    • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Hex AI, or similar) is a plus.
    • Exposure to healthcare, clinical research, or regulated industries is a strong advantage.
    • Experience building dashboards or analytics products used in production environments is a plus.
    • Benefits

      • Remote-first work model with flexible working hours
      • Competitive salary package (€65,000 – €80,000) plus equity
      • Hybrid setup with access to a Paris office in Grands Boulevards
      • Comprehensive health insurance fully covered by the employer
      • Meal vouchers and wellness benefits
      • Compensatory time (RTT) and strong work-life balance support
      • High-quality equipment and learning resources provided
      • Opportunities to work on high-impact, mission-driven healthcare innovation
      • Clear career progression toward Lead or Staff Analytics Engineer or Data Product roles
